Alan Smithee (Antonio Tublén) is a film director/writer from Sweden who also has an urge to throw in some electronic soundscapes in his film. In the movie LFO (2013), he also included sound as part of the story, where an amateur scientist hypnotizes his neighbors with sound frequencies and subjects them to increasingly outlandish scenarios to fuel his megalomania. In his film Zoo (2018), most of the score started with the Buchla Music Easel.
Most of his more experimental music is improvised with a Buchla Music Easel, a looper, and some FX pedals, or a Buchla 200 system.
