Born and raised in the South of France, Hugo R.A. Paris creates finely crafted live hardware electronic music with a unique focus on expressivity and raw emotion.
His engaging performances take the listener on an uplifting journey through pieces from his latest album. Live-sets involve a punchy mix of modular synthesizers as well as keyboards, live percussions and prepared tape loops delivered on a rich backdrop of visual projections, and build a narrative ranging from textural ambient soundscapes to dance-inducing beats.
Hugo’s third album, Threaded Habitat, was released in July 2019 by Beacon Sound (Terry Riley, Colleen, Benoit Pioulard, Amulets,…) + Jacktone Records (Fact top 10 labels of 2018) and followed up with a remix release in September 2020 featuring Nathan Moody, Earthen Sea and many of Hugo’s friends.
