Marcus Wrangö, composer and musician focusing on electroacoustic music both in live electronic and studio based form, with and without visual elements.
He has worked with everything from complex 3D audio techniques, advanced gestural controllers and programming to field recordings, home built electronics and visual projections. Nowadays he mainly uses Serge modular synthesizers and cybernetic compositional techniques.
Wrangö has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electroacoustic music composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Marcus work as technical director, composer and tonmeister at Audiorama (http://www.audiorama.se). He teaches studio engineering and electroacoustic music at Gotlands School for Composers in Visby.
