Teleplasmiste is the duo of Mark O Pilkington and Michael J York. The pair explore electricity and nature through the use of synthesisers and acoustic instrumentation, including bagpipes, to lead audiences and listeners into other spaces and shifted states of mind.
Previous performances have taken place in churches, crypts, barns, warehouses, galleries and an aeronautical wind tunnel, as well as conventional music venues, where we sometimes work with the resonant frequencies of a space, combining them with frequencies believed to have transformative emotional, psychological and physiological effects on those present.
