Benjamin Mauch and Micah Pick are teachers and composers living in Virginia. Working collaboratively, they create music in a wide range of styles, experimenting with modular synthesizers and acoustic instruments.
Their most recent release, “It Feels Great, But the Planet is Dying”, is a tribute to both modern ambient and noise music as well as xenharmonicism. Using Just Intonation tunings, they create strange and warm soundscapes that represent the bleakness of climate change.
