Ma.Ku.Su

Max Maleo

It was towards the end of the 90s that Max Maleo aka Ma Ku Su started and made his first recordings on guitar with tape looping and vintage analog effects with eternal delays. in 2000, Makusu started and got deeply involved in electronic music.

Computer assisted for a long time, he believed in the infinite field of possibilities offered by software and their plugins. Thus exploring most styles of electronic music with appetite and curiosity. Despite a massive production of tracks, nothing really seemed to transcribe his intentions. He trades his computer for modular machines, he really begins to find his own colors. It is this configuration full of constraints and in perpetual evolution that allows him today to express his musical emotions with precision and fidelity.

Loops, layers and cosmic rhythms tell us about his explorations, a journey to the heart of his universe as synthetic as it is organic. His music is a testimony without filters, prescribing a good dose of ultra-effective antidepressants based on beats, spatial melodies and complex sounds.
