SONICrider (Jurgen Winkel) is a producer, musician, artist & performer from the South of The Netherlands.
Started in 1985 as member (sound & beat maker) of BLIND and industrial – electronic punk/rock band, Jurgen’s journey in the electronic music red line is “independent music”.
Style wise several territory are explored as solo artist or in collaboration with musicians and/or vocalist.
Beside hardware SONICrider uses DIY controllers (“String”, “Wheel”, “Pendulum”, “Spring”, …) bringing natural flows into the composition.
Currently combining electronic music & analog sounds producing experimental “danceable” music with all kinds of styles: during a performance the audience will be guided through a world of sound & vision.
