Ethan Persoff is an archivist, cartoonist, and sound artist. His work has been praised for bending word-based audio with odd electronic techniques. Deemed a “one man Negativland” for a series of turntable records in the early 2000’s, he has achieved underground success for a number of small political pranks and odd mash-ups. For the last two decades he has built a large room of electronics housed in a bomb bunker, which he broadcasts a semi-weekly show titled Spoken Word with Electronics, or SWWE. The show has been described as “Ridiculous Electronic Noise” by WFMU. He enjoys nature and long walks.
